Got a 1992 valver with a Williams engine in, checked tell tail signs like blue dot on dipstick, bigger oil cooler, also checked under inlet to see what looked like f7r sat in front right of the block but when im driving it it pulls from low revs but thru revs don't limit at 6400k which is what a Williams should, it goes to 7500k??? Any ideas?? Could it be running on a valver ecu??[/code]

Probably been chipped to remove the low limiter

Could it do damage to the engine or cause problems? Since getting it I've been nursing it around everywhere and opened it up the once to check limiter and shit myself when it continued past the standard Williams limiter

can run a F7R to 7100-7200 all day long no worries. just make sure its well serviced and warmed up before battle commences :-)

Well im doing timing belt, tensioners, water pump, alternator belt and a damn good service soon before i start going ape in it lol, and i am assuming i wait for oil temp to run at about 100 or just under on dial?

just wait until the temps stable and has stopped increasing during normal milling about driving. be reet then for some hammer
