Chaps, finally finished everything I wanted to do to the Willy in preparation for Le Mans... Wheels, new bonnet, new exhaust, full service, decat, filter etc. etc. Just got the 1994 Williams F1 decals and wrap to sort out to get her already for the blast down to France.
On another note, as I can't help but impulsively buy stuff, Ive also bought a 106 Rallye S1 (with S2engine) as another restoration project. Firstly, I'll get it back to good health, then it will be stripped, caged etc. My Willy is precious and will NEVER be sold. I just wanted another little French hatch as a pure track project. Rude not to as I'm 5 minutes from Brands!
The 106 forum seems to be full of boy racers instead of enthusiasts, so if anybody has experience of these cars, any advice would be appreciated as to reccommended upgrades for track use.
