i must be upto abt four may be even 5 a day! someone said to me on the weekend garr u must be "bouncing" when u go home, narr i sed they just abt keeps me awake, the exciting life on an accountant eh :roll:

i can drink up to 7 cups of coffee a day, more tea tho
Definatly keeps me awake for the nite tho, and gives me a funny buzz. Word of warning dont drink alcohol the same day!!!! Did that mistake last week :shock:

2 a day today but thats only because I'm to lazy to far to walk the 20 meters to a coffe machine.
I can have up to about 10/20 cups a day, great when you don't have to make them, just say tot eh littel kid, go and make us a coffee, just about trained him up to make decent ones now....apart from he broke my favourite mug today :(

think im addicted to it, ill still drink tea and coffee even if i run out of milk!
1 coffee in the morning and 1 tea in the afternoon with a few glasses of water in between
not a hot drink fan myself(unless its hot chocolate) being a plumber the amount of times i get offered a cuppa is amazing! just stick to cold drinks and usually drink all the 2 litres of water i take with me! but come the winter when its really really cold i will have a cuppa!
don't drink tea or coffee
Just have the 1 coffee in a morning to jump start me!! Feel like shite if I don't have one!

On an early shift i have around 3 cups of coffee and 2 cups of tea
On a late shift its usually 4 cups of coffee.
So around 4 - 5 really.
Lunner as your obviously addicted to caffeine try a drink called "Jolt" if you can find it.
wen the coffee n tea usd 2 be free used 2 b like 5 cups of coffee a day at least! lol....but now i av 2 pay 4 it more like 2 cups :roll:

Coffee is free in work so I have about 6 cups a day! Proper strong filtered stuff so I'm as high as a kite on the way home!!

Don't like coffee, only tea. Prob 3/4 cups a week. Normally just drink filtered water.

TBH a mug of warm frogspawn laced with antifreeze/fosters in a 50/50 mix is more appetizing than tea or coffee.
Never have drunk it, never will.

I love Tea. I'm on my third Cup already this morning.
Tea's good for you - lot's of antoxidants in it apparently. I have decaf with semi skimmed milk to kid myseld I'm being more healthy.lol.

Haha, the polyphenols in tea is what i research (but not just in tea).
Black tea contains alot of tanins which are polyphenol substances formed when the tea is made, and they give it its black colour.
Green tea contains less tanins, but more of the catechins (such as epicatechin, catechin, epigallocatechin gallate etc).
Green tea and balck tea are actually from the same plant (Camelia sinensis), the green tea the leaves are steamed, but the black tea the leaves are fermented (basically burnt, which is why they are black).
Green tea protects against a number of forms of cancer such as bowl and oesophogeal cancer, perhaps through an antioxidant pathway, or perhaps enzymatically, ie inhibition of urokinase.
