When removing the engine from my Willy 3 last year it was noted that the cold start injector had been disconnected. This leads me to ask a couple of questions :)

If intentional, why would the injector have been disconnected? Is there anyway I can check if the injector is in working order prior to fitting the engine back in the car?

I didnt have any starting issues but to be fair I didnt use the car in the freezing cold weather. I remember it turning over a few times before it fired but cannot remember if it did it when warm.

Any light on the matter would be super :D

its a bit of a none matter, pretty sure it only really works usefully below like minus 10 or something, its for very cold starts

so likely to run totally trouble free on the standard four unless you live in russia. it may of been disconnected accidentally, as in someone failed to reconnect it after a h/g swap or similar.

as such i wouldnt be overly concerned about it!!
