Hi All,

Just getting back into restoring my Willy 1 after getting distracted by tracking a 182 I picked up over the winter. The Willy has a leak, it looks like its coming from the gearbox, where the drivers side driveshaft goes into it. When this has happened with any other car I have worked on, I've gone off to euro car parts and bought a driveshaft seal, but getting simple parts like this for a Williams seems to be impossible. It’s not really the kind of part I would want to buy second hand so I'm a bit stuck, I can't see one on Renault Parts Direct so I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

Could anyone confirm whether it is a separate seal, or if it is apart of the driveshaft? And if it is separate, does anyone have a clue where I can get one from?

Thanks for any help.

That's the one. Probably safe to apply a weeny bit of silicone sealant as well I imagine.

Thanks for the reply guys, sorry for my slow reply, I haven't had chance to have a life over the last 6 days or so, I've been working too much.

That link doesn't work for me?
