Surprised thers no guide or info on replacing this. Is it a difficult job. My cable is at a stage now where its getting stuck so goingto tackle it in the week. Not looking forward to it tbh. Any one on here recently done one?

the hard bit is getting the white plastic bit that attaches to the gas pedal through the bulkhead...it's a small hole behind the fire shield in the drivers wheel arch...the rest is a piece of piss!

Just thinking out oud here while I'm at work so sorry for the basic question.....

I need to adjust the height of the throttle pedal so its more level with the brake pedal.....am I right in thinking this is easily adjustable by that plastic screw mechanism at the throttle body end???

No.
You adjust the pedal by removing the u shaped clip thing on the ribbed part of the throttle cable which allows you to move the ribbed part & that changes the height of the pedal :wink:

Ahh yes! The U shaped clip thing, I remember now......a circlip is the correct term I think :-)

Is it really a circlip though? :? My thinking of 1 of those is the same as what's in the gearbox
