vr6's are to heavy and dont produce enough power - 1.8t has 450 bhp potential with very easy mods - be prepared to get your wallet out.

The 1.8T is the dappa don :twisted: ......cheapish to get one runing 180bhp using a cheap 150

not after a stupidly quick car.......thats what the clios for (well ish lol) :P

Jordy managed a 14.2 or 14.3 with his Audi A3 with the 150bhp 1.8t with a £500 remap and exhaust/filter. That was with 18" audi wheels as well so a Mk1 with that bhp would be in the 13`s no probs. Do what that guy @ York did...bang a Scooby engine in!

even a basic 1.8 16v transplant outta mk2 will make it rapid once u add cams etc, easiest by a mile.
