If so, please can you post a pic of it here. It needs to be the one supplied from the dealers when new.

A long shot I know...

Sort of. Mine was on private plates for a long time, but the owner before me went to great lengths to gt plates made by the original dealer.

It all depends which dealer your car came from?

Thanks for the photos guys. I just wanted to have a look what they would look like. I'm getting some made up and wanted authentic looking ones as opposed to 'new' ones if that makes sense.

The dealership that my Willy was originally purchased from has gone under, so the plate designer will just have to imagine what it would look like.

Who was the dealer?

Hartland Motors in Gloucester

This is the first effort he came up with. I've asked him to change the font and reduce the size of the writing to see if that looks any more 'retro'.

Is it possible to find out what garage your car came from when new? I'd love to find out where mine came from.

The exact garage would be difficult, however Renault Customer Services might be able to tell you.

I was lucky as mine came with some extensive history including the first bill of sale.

Normally a stamp in the front of the service book.
Failing that, find out which Dvla office it was registered at (last two digits of reg) and look for local Renault dealers.

It wasn't a 1 owner car so might have been put on by another dealer selling it, 01 prefix came out the next year.

The bloke who I originally contacted has gone out of business. Fortunately I had the foresight to email someone else who has just sent me these...

And he can amend the dealer details to the ones which your car came from.

Dealer plates = £30.00

Dealer sticker = £12.00

Dealer tax disk holder = £8.00

P&P = £2.50

I'll probably leave the tax disc holder as it will be a circular one which I'm pretty sure wouldn't have been the same shape as the ones provided by the dealer.

These have just arrived at home and will get fitted to my 3 at the weekend when it comes back from paint. I'll post some pictures so you can see what they're like in the flesh.

So what garage did u order plates for P4cks? Did u find out where yours came from or have you just found one to reference?

Guys for full on williamsland originality I would make sure that you are using the right Renault logo For 93, 94 & 95, as 2live says the correct phone number and also the correct period number plate font!

A point to remember not all garages were true Renault ones! Just like Arnold Clarks. Just look at there stickers :winkey:

Ps I hope u now have Atleast one elf sticker now pal????

Areet Northy! My car was supplied by Hartland Motors in Gloucester so those details were used. They've since gone tits up according to Companies House so I know that it is highly unlikely that I will ever be able to see a Hartland Motors plate from that era so the above plate was somewhat of a compromise. They have used the correct Renault logo, I made sure of that.

The bloke who does them is from FastFord (or PassionFord) forum and does all of their RS dealer plates and comes highly recommended.

(Re: the stickers... Yeah I got one, so thanks very much for your persistence!)

Si, I saw this on a 1994 Clio bootlid on eBay so I emailed the seller and bought the sticker separately :)

Hi,

anyone interested in having some of these printed up for the originating dealership where your car came from? The guy I contacted can stick any details on.

Photo below shows a 'Renault Ilford' sticker I acquired from an old bootlid on eBay. Would you want any changes made? Maybe have 'Renault' on it somewhere?
