Oil pump information needed

Evening all,

Can anyone tell me the symptoms of a failing or tired oil pump? I suspect mine may be tired due to erratic oil pressure readings which i can only put down to the oil pump.

I could do with knowing were to source one from as ive looked everywere and cannot find one and is there a mod you can do it to improve oil pressure?

The readings you're getting are probably from a dodgy sensor, the gauges aren't accurate either :lol:
If the pressure is bad the oil pressure warning light will come on :wink:

As above. I have a pump available if you need one, but the gauges are not great.

yeah ive read that and cant say im suprised that they arent accurate. thing is it will drop the pressure on the gauge between 0 and 1 when the engines hot and it does have a certain feel like its strugling for revs, could be something else maybe

That's nothing, you should have seen my pressure gauge after a weekend at shakespeare raceway :shock: I pulled up outside my mates house & the needle was bouncing like fcuk between 0 & 5 bar at idle :lol:
