I just want to be sure... Are F7R 714 main bearings the same as F4R main bearings, because they are definitely different then the rest of F7R bottom ends?

Was something wrong when you tried to check yesterday?

Are there any performance alternatives for F4R engines?

Clevite 77, ACL?

Are thrust bearings the same as F7R 700 or F4R series?

its a bit of a moot point isn't it? just buy the ones for the engine you have

there would be zero point in needing 'uprated' ones. pretty sure scoff is on standard main shells at 762bhp

Problem is, because I don't really know which ones I need. I ordered F7R main bearings, but obviously 714 main bearings don't have locating tabs (I orderd those bearings before I stripped the engine).

F4R main bearings would probably fit, but I'm not sure? And I don't have Megane 2.0 16V VIN number to check in Dialogys.

Bookmark this link as I use it to find stuff on dialogys that isn't valver or williams http://www.retro-renault.com/forums/general/11029-retro-renault-identification.html?garpg=2
