Best colour for strut brace?

hi fellas :D
I sprayed my strut brace during the week but I'm not happy with the colour at all :cry:

It was red originally but it was all bubbly and chipped,
anyway here are some pictures

I think having it gold is over the top,
excuse the pictures quality there off my phone,
(also the sun was shining on the engine :roll:

I was thinking of having it gold where it touches the struts and having it 432 blue in the middle bar?
But that might be over the top again :?:

Do ye know on the rocker cover, the plastic that goes on there and goes down to the spark plugs?
mine is bent a little bit and the the "F16.IE" sticker cover wont sit perfect on it?
I had a bolt against the plastic and the strut brace for two days hoping it would bent back but nope :roll:

looks nice mate. one suggestion! get a minty fresh coolant bottle from uncle schakal fitted in that bay! :D

I'm exactly the same as Fatboy!! I like it buddy. I've just had mine powder coated gold, but it will only look right if the rest of your bay is minty. A nice new coolant bottle so that you can see the lime green coolant through will look good. I've also got a carbon fibre top engine cover and new battery. Also bought a carbon scuttle kit, just looking for a V6 airbox. I'll post pics up when it's all done!!

I'm still not sure about the strut brace,
But I don't hate it as much.... :lol:

I've the original airbox put on the car now 8)

I've the coolant bottle on "the list"!!!
(A never ending list I might add :shock: )

Seen a couple of pictures of the engine mount and inlet cover in carbon fibre look sweet 8)

Also, refresh the heatshield, refurb the skuttle panel, clean the powersteering reservoir. Think about powdercoating the pulley cover as well and the engine lifting eye. Some new sparkly HT leads always help too!
