No oil temp

Am i right in thinking that the oil level and oil temp share the same sender? I have oil pressure and level working. But no temp. Does this rule out the sender ? Cheers.

ai temp and level are same sender, I had similar issue and it was due to the plug unseating from its mount on the front of the block and coming disconnecting slightly, so lost one function and not the other, so that would be my first port of call for a check :-)

At the minute iv got all the front end off. Doing a bit of rust proofing and tidying. So im wondering wether to just replace the sender while its easy to get to.
