If on any given "private track" you had a little play with an old m3 evo (ones with the wide arches??) and beat it in a 2.0 willy hybrid.... would that be a fair result?? - more so in a straight line to say SILLY SPEEDS...

NO GENERAL REASON FOR ASKING..................

They all weigh about 1300 kilos. The 2.3s have either 200 brake from around D,E,F age, to 215 brake from the Evo G, H reg. Then there was a 2.5 Sport Evo, which was 2.5 litre with 238 brake.

To be honest, they're not as quick as you'd expect an M3 to be. I guess the early 2.3s are may be a bit quicker than the AVERAGE standard Williams. But they're amazing to drive

You forgot to mention the Evo II with 220bhp. Then there are some rare special editions such as the Roberto Ravglia model. Typical 0-60 times are 6.7-7.0.

6.3 for the Evo Sport. But they are an old car even compared to the Williams so could be a tad down on power. But as you say an amazing car, great handling etc.

My previous car was a Hartge H26 e30 (old skool) and that put out about 200bhp. An amazing car, but when it comes to handling, your not really going to stay with a pocket rocket such as the Willy unless your a rather talented driver IMHO. Snaping oversteer is a NIGHTMARE!

Actually, I got most of it wrong! 1250 kilos max, some less. Normal M3s had either 195, 200, 215 or 220 BHP. Evo had 200, Evo II had 220. Special editions were either 195 (euromeister) or 215 (ravaglia, cecotto). I did get the 238 on the Sport Evo right though :P

Been doing homework
