View Full Version : Went for a small "sideways" drive with Stiggy.....

As part of the promotion for the up and coming Top Gear Live show in Copenhagen Top Gear need a few cars for the event. My mate brought his Caterham for The Stig to use (play with) and i tagged along doing whell changes and some donuts early in the day (before Stiggy arivved in a blacked out car)

Other cars at the event was an Aston Martin Rapide (6L V12 - a beauty!) and a........ - can you guess from the 4th. picture?

At the end of the day we got a passenger ride with The Stig.
Good sideways fun in the Aston.

Is that 'track' near Copenhagen, whats it called? I have no pc and cant open vids on this old phone! :-(

Indeed it is... 100m from the airport - 5Km from the center of Copenhagen.

But would not call it a "track" - it's a sort of place where learner drivers go to learn how to tun the wheel and change gears....

Need to get on a pc and see if I recognise it. I went to watch 'testing' at a place many years ago when there was a race/display on cobbled Copenhagen streets and ended up driving my mates volvo full of tools, trying to keep up while he drove his mates honda, while his mate in a D type Jag! left us both for dead at every set of lights to parc-ferme near the Tivoli gardens. No im not making this up! :-D

I go to that race every year.
It's the Copenhagen Classic Car Cup.
Lots of great historical cars!
