Thrust bearing

Well it's gone so need to sort it out and put a new clutch in. Been getting quotes of £1000 to do the job as saying its at least a 12 hour job. Does this sound right and if so any idea who could do it cheaper? Really need it back on the road so any help appreciated!![/img]

im having mine done in a couple of weeks. the place i am using said it would be £700-800 ish for the clutch, cambelt and water pump but if they find anything else on the way it maybe a little more which i thought was not too bad tbh

Where about is that? I've already done cam belt water pump top end rebuild so just need clutch doin.

its a place in ipswich called colbourne engineering (may not be spelt right ). he is a renault specialist, quite a distance from you tho !!!!
