Just collecting some pieces for a nice good servicing for the old gal.. anyone recommend an oil flush??

My oil pressure gauge very intermittent and thinking an oil flush might clear some of the crud in the system. Otherwise mite need a new switch.
My car has done 104 000 miles

Don't use an oil flush!
Not good for our engines, best way is to swap the oil twice quickly in succession.

Yeah a wouldn't recommend an oil flush at all.

I just let mine drip out until there was none left at all. I was in no hurry so a just took me time with it :)

Thats another good tip that i like to follow.
I'll remove the sump plug and leave it dripping overnight.

I always let mine drip ;)

The intermittent oil pressure reading could be a crappy spade connection on the pressure gauge. Common problem.

Cheers guys for the heads up... , apparently the oil was changed just before i bought it in January but going to change it in summer when it's a little warmer. I'll be sure to let it drip all day long then ha

Have a look at the pressure sensor in a couple of weeks, really bugging me. Tempted to just get it off and try and clean it out. save myself £60

Warm the engine up well on a run first before pulling the plug.
