Handbrake adjustment

Hi

I need to adjust my handbrake to be more even left and right for the MOT. Currently it takes two clicks to not be able to move the left hand wheel, and 6 clicks to get to the same level on the right hand wheel.

I've adjusted the main adjuster (under the exhaust) to give me the best case, but how can i make both calipers adjust the same to give me even handbrake?

Is there something on the caliper that I need to play with?

not usually it should be equal on both sides as there is only one adjuster

think it might need a new or refurbish caliper on the poorer side..

might be worth stripping and cleaning and greasing the side thats bad..

but usually calipers stick and seize with age

Could be a stretched cable. May need to replace them boh
