Does anyone know how to fit the volvo 480turbo late 215mm clutch?

I've read multiple times that it's possible to fit the 215mm clutch disc and Cover to a 16v/willy flywheel.

You need to get the flywheel machined and drilled to accept the 215mm clutch cover holes a few peeps have done this with the GTT flywheel and used an organic clio 172 clutch

Hmm think i'm just going for 200mm helix/volvo combination then.
My max goal is 250bhp and somewhere around 250lb/ft

What where your figures again James?

Unfortunatly I never got to rolling road the ole girl myself but the engine with all my parts is in another 5 GTT and has been R&R @ 269bhp @15psi on the Fastchips ECU it has had some tweeking to the map aswell as was leaning of top end :D

Should add he is still using my Helix paddle friction plate and valeo green box cover from the volvo, I know he is going to change the clutch cover to make it full paddle and also a bigger turbo as it's only running the 200sz T28

Tuned by Scoff, i've seen it, is a bit of a motivation for me to keep going :P

Is the 215mm cover any stronger or the same as the 200mm?
As i've read on Volvo boards that both clutches will withstand the same max power...

I've used the 215 as well as a 200mm clutch and the 215 has a lot more clamping force with the pressure plate. It's a heavy and aggressive clutch to use day to day, but does the job well. Mine ran 260flb with out any issues.

Yes but you use a 172 flywheel right?
I really get into this cause don't like to remove engine again once it's installed.
The help is very much appreciated!

As said before you can always drill and re tap the standard flywheel to make one fit.
