valvers gone to renault ! ? ! ?

took my car to renault yesterday to get it sorted as i havent got the knowledge or time to sort it, the bloke sed he will fone me if it goes over the £350 mark to repair it! so awaiting a huge bill, jus hope they hurry up, as tax runs out on my other car at the end of the month and dont want to renew it!

anyone had any unexpected big bills from renault?

In my experience. Renault (and all main dealers) kow **** all about the cars over five years old. They get all their information off their Repair manual CD ROMS. And since I've got one I don't need Renault!
Oh - and yes, expect stupid prices for doing a Haynes manual 'three spanner' job.

Better than that. It's for all Renaults! Got it off ebay. 3 CDs for £5. So far only used it for diagnosing my alarm fault plus had a quick skim thru the rest but its very good.
