The needle on my fuel gauge has stopped moving, however the light still comes on when im low on fuel, now im presuming that its the indicator or whatever its called in the tank thats fooked, is this a possibility and how do i check it/go about replacing it..???

Cheers

Could be the sender unit? Under the passenger seat am guessing.

Accessed by lifting up the base of the rear seats

Is the fuel sender unit an expensive part to replace, or is it worth gettin one from the breakers

cheers

Should be about £20 I think. Andyleep was correct, too. The sender unit is under the rear seats not the passenger seat as stated in my post. I don't know why I said passenger seat :/
