ideal camber is around -1* give ort take 1* IIRC, minus figures becausew the bottem of the wheels stick out further than the top of the wheels

16v and Willy shocks are different, the holes for the hub carrier are at a slightly different angle, so if you fitted the wrong shocks this could cause your samber problems.
I have some almost new Williams springs/shocks for sale.

0057 has 'cup racer' suspension (just shocks i think) as fitted by Paul Mitchel, but as these where based on a racing car id say thats your problem.

Race cars run alot of camber (probably upwards of 3 degrees). Cup shocks are totally inapropriate for the Williams for road use.

What were you told about the history of this car?

Thanks Mate

Saidly i din't get the Cup shocks with it, Matt Wills kept them

Paul Put some shocks on it just to get me home with, Im sure they are 16v thats why the camber is 4deg. I need some Willy ones badly, Then i
can come out n play. lol

I don't think 16v shocks will fit the 2ltr setup...even just to get you home so i'm guessing you have another issue. Either that or they are but have been modified (i.e holes drilled out) to fit between the hub carrier and top mount. Can you not just ask?

Willy shox are about 50quid new each....you'll be able to nick the 172 cup springs though

Cheers Guys, They Are 16v, i compered them with my mates spares,

I couldn't tell the differance when i got it because the car had no Engine, Box and i took it home on my dads lorry,

Now i got it all together is clear, Spoke to paul n he has some Willy ones,

Thanks for all your help though, Sure i will be back on again askin another stupid question, lol :D

I brought a willy lump n fitted it into a valver, Then this shell came up so
i put the 1.8 back in the 16v, sold it to my mate and put the Willy lump back in a propper williams. Hopefuly it will be ready for the Sprint your all going to. Just ned a few parts to finish

So you have 0057? And you bought a valver for a new bonnet?
