I've a Williams 3 and my seats are identical to the ones in the link you posted on one of your other threads.

I wouldn't worry about it at all.

the headrests are different. the willy 3 headrests are adjustable. you should be able to pull then forward and down into your neck and they click ever so slightly, but go to far and they slowy rise back up again

"Yeah Williams seats but W3 has a pattern on the inside of the bolster that matches the base."

I will take a picture tomorrow!

Thank you appreciate it.

If its mainly only this headrest thing i am not bothered really its not the end of the world.

Judging by the weather forecast of snow friday i might not get to see the car anyway :(

Now then!!

The 1st pic is a Williams 1 seat

2nd Williams 3 seat.

Spot the difference?

Side by side, W3 seat has pre-tensioner buckle and sits higher (top)
As FATBOY said, the mechanism works different in the headrest too, W3 is a ratchet movement and the W1 works on friction.

I cannot comment on W2 seats as I have never owned one.

I can demonstrate as these are fitted in my W3! I swapped my original drivers seat as it had a couple of small holes in the bolster. I'm happier that my W1 drivers seat is in perfect condition but upset by the difference you can see in the pics. I will eventually fit a clean W3 drivers seat to match the other, but I have more important jobs at the mo.

Dont discount buying as there maybe a perfectly good reason for this. Just HPI it and go and have a look. They have all see plenty of action over the years.

I hope this helps.

My Willy 2 seats look exactly the same as the Willy 3's. So they're only different then 1's.

I never heard of it too :P
