Fellas, i know your not the chattiest bunch, but your advice on this would be appreciated. I spent alot of time over recent months thinking of selling the williams, been thinking of returning to scoobies. But with the currant climate, and things seemingly set to only get worse, i decided that it would be a bad idea.
So with the intent on keeping the williams for 3 years or so, ive decided that theres enough nice standard ones out there, and im going to say sod it and do my own thing.. Ive decided to start with the wheels and suspension, now im no mechanic, so your advice on my proposed work would be appreciated.

Wheels im going to go for the 16" prima pl's suspension apex clio 1 60mm from k-tec, 20mm rear wheel spacer kit, ( as i hate the way the wheels sink in the arches ), Clio Williams Powerflex Poly Bushes, ill also have the track rod ends done as well...

My question is, will it fit, will it work, and will it handle ok...

Cheers

I would say 15mm or less spacers

20mm spacers and 60mm drop would need arch work imo

I don't mean to piss on your bonfire but I had apex shocks & 60mm springs on mine & I absolutely hated it.

As for the wheels, you need to find out how wide they are, what offset & tyre width they're gonna use as that will affect what spacers & level of drop you can safely have.

I've seen 20mm spacers used on the back with approximately 30mm drop and williams wheels with 195 50 15 tyres and that was pretty fcuking close to rubbing the arches but just about able to get away with it

It's surprising the visual change even 10mm per side creates to the rear of the car.

seems the alloys im after are 17" pl primas based on a picture i sent them. All im looking to achieve with the spacers is bring the wheels out level to the arch and not sunken in.. i hate the way it looks. next question... lol sorry guys. ive seen spacers on ebay, for £30 - 50 are they any good? although the ones in the link are 15mm
