I'd like to remove 2 breathers that are sticking out of the cam cover.

I'd like to replace them with some Aeroquip fittings. Problem is, I decided I wanted to replace them after I already sent my cam cover away for painting (not this one in the photo - this is my test one, which I can abuse) and I really don't want to damage the finish on it?

Its your choice Robi but aeroquip hoses there are a bit of a waste of time.

I went along this route and opted for the fancy anodised clamps you can buy and some braided breather hose, this is the far cheaper option.

But it would be possible to cut them and have the rest machined out and tapped ready for the aeroquip adapters but would need a bit of care as to not damage your paint.

Oooh! This solves my problem! :) I didn't know I can get these! Also much cheaper! :D

Push fit rubber hoses are fine, there is no significant pressure there anyway (unless your rings are properly knackered!)

anything else is just pointless TBH unless you are trying to make some sort of fashion statement.

Well I don't want any of the two hoses to go back to my inlet (which is different because of the ITBs) and I have to route both of them to the oil catch can. And while I do this I might as well do it as good or even better then factory did it.

Factory solution on Clio Maxi:

Or like this in case of Clio Gr.A (you can also spot PAS cap mod ;) )

Fair enough mate.

Nothing wrong with a nice looking engine bay :)
