Has anyone ever simply removed the complete hydraulic light adjusters setup? Does this cause any problems? I am thinking along the lines of where the male ball socket on the headlight end pops into the light, will this be loose and floppy and the reflective plate be moving up and down while driving?!

I've done it :D

You need to secure the flap otherwise it'll sit & aim where the hell it likes & will also flap about while you're driving.
I lined the headlights up to where I wanted them & used cable ties to secure them in place

Did all Williams have the same hydraulic adjustment setup? Did any have manual or electric versions?
