No access to a Haynes manual where I am at the moment so can someone please tell what the sensor is for that sits at the rear far left of the block, about half way down, as you look from the front?? Has a short fly lead with spade connector going to it that branches out from the main harness. From memory, the sensor unit is about 15mm in diameter...

thanks :-)

FFS, thats what I thought it was and was going to change it whilst I've got the exhaust manifold off.

Some tool at Renault parts told me the pressure sensor was on the front of the block...

Anyone have a part number for the pressure sensor, just to be sure??

the one at the front of the block is the low oil pressure
warning sensor .
The one you described is the oil pressure sensor which sends the instant oil pressure info to the pressure gauge
