Well, last year I was unable to put back together a written-off williams but 3 nights ago I came within 5 minutes of losing my own.
We had some serious rain on Monday and a river close to the house breached the walls and took out about 150 cars in the complex where we live. Aston Martins, 1960 MG's (2) Range Rover the lot.

It was 7:30 and I had 2 movies to bring back to the the vid store and as I walked out the front door I saw the river was starting to come in and flow by the garage door. It had just breached the wall. I legged it down to the garage to grab my boots but when I opened the door there was already a foot and a half of water in there. Took out the daily as the willy was tucked up along side it.
Water had almost reached the level of the opening on the bottom of the door. Grabbed keys connected the battery and tore out of there like a mofo! Half an hour later the fire-brigade were rescuing people on boats out of there! The water mark on the garage wall the morning after showed 6 feet. Praise the lord and the Williams! :D

p.s hope you ladies are all keeping well. am in college at the moment but keeping an eye on you's from time to time!
Keep the faith..
see you
Fab.

not kidding lads i was minutes away from disaster. 5 minutes more and the car would never have gotton out.

The funniest was the range rover. some of you may know that they have a system onboard that detects if the car is submerged in water(just incase anyone decides to drive one off a pier or something) anyway said system opens the windows so the occupants can escape. anyway I dont need to explain to you's what the "clever car" did when the flood of water came  so much for clever technology hey

I feel so lucky now that I've had time to reflect.

Today, everything back to normal..Took the seats out as I had to take the carpets out cause the driver's foot-well was drenched due to me jumping in on my great escape with water almost to my knees.
Needed to get the carper valeted anyway's so now's a good a time as ever.
