I have just changed the oil and filter on my 1995 Williams.

This is the only thing I have changed, and now the car idles at 2200rpm.

Can anyone give any ideas as to why this has happened? I dont believe I have touched anything under the car.

I also, dont believe this can be changed. Does anyone know how to help get the idle speed back to 900rpm?

Cheers.

Is there something fouling the throttle body?

Idle can be adjusted, but only slightly (by about 400rpm at best!) Was it idling fine before the oil change?

Managed to do it by re-setting the TPS.

Now idling at 1000rpm.

Still misfiring though. Out of options now.

When you took the old oil filter out, did you go in under the ISCV side under the manifold? May have knocked/cut the pipe from ISCV to manifold. An air leak from there will cause this.

How did you 'reset' the TPS?

I reset the TPS with a multimeter, setting the values from 0.24V to 4.75 Volts on WOT.
