309/205 GTi with an Mi16 engine
E30 325i with a LSD
Mk2 Golf 16v with a 2.0 bottom end
Corrado G60 with a smaller pulley/chip
R5 GTT with adjustable boost and uprated h/g
MR2 turbo with a chip
AX GTi with a 1.6 16v VTS engine

Go for a compromise and just double your budget. The above can all be had for below £2k :D

Depends what you wan I guess you sold the 2.0's just incase of aban. If so then stick with a wimpl little cheap diesel etc till after the court appearanc least it will look to th court like you've change. The buy something quicker.

If your after something cheap an fast what about a motorbike will kill Clios up the 1/4 mile.
If not what about a Mk 1 172 for £4k there cheap and got the luxuries bu then again I've sen aht happens to any car you've owned so maybe our not to bothered about that.

What aout an impretza I'm sure mark had on for £4k recinetly. Least there more tunning options.

Rover coupe turbo's are rapid mate. 197bhp standard. 6.5 to 60 and top out at 150  The interiors a bit :? but they dont look too bad.

Weak points are head gaskets and boxes same as a valver i think. :D

Don't be gay - get an R5 GTT or, if you haven't already got it out of your system, another williams/hybrid. Cheap tax with GTT though...and they're peanuts to pick up...

Gotta be a 5 turbo imo........Went out in a couple of very fast ones last night and **** me there like go-karts!!!

Sound like tanks when first started but when in motion you cant beat them imo!!!

The 180 to 200 bhp one running 20 psi was my favorite..........That adjustable boost narf makes it special!!!

Jan
15-08-2005, 10:31
Agreed with the GTT - my mate used to own a reliable 220 bhp 5 and it used to leave the williams standing  :D
