Just sorting out insurance on the Willy and its down to either a policy with Kinetic via Adrian Flux or an Allianz Enthusiasts policy via Lancaster, both at around £175...

Anyone had any experience with Adrian Flux or Lancaster??

Yes, I know there are cheaper like Peter Best etc but I have a few points so won't quote for me....

Adrian flux will take your money, but if the worst happens they are useless. Never used Lancaster, but haven't heard anything bad about them[/list]

I've got a megane 225 that i've had from new. (5yrs) I'm with admiral and all the mods on the car are declared. I pay £600 per yr. Adrian Flux wanted £1250!!

I use Lancaster - on my second year with them now on a classic policy - no real issues tbh.

I would not insure a paper bag with Adrian Flux!  The biggest pile of shite Iv ever had the misfortune to have a policy with. I would rather pay a little bit more and not have the worry that your so called insurance broker wiggle and snake there way out of paying you in the event of an accident! I'll be needing a new policy soon so would like to know the cheapest/best also.

Mmm, that kind of told me what I'd heard before, that Adrian Flux aren't exactly well thought of. And they're a bit chavvy with their Flux Babes and Max Power image etc. Lancaster it is then...

PS. I'm 41 with full NCB, no accidents but 6 points almost three years ago. 3000 miles pa limit, Cat 1 alarm etc... £178 with Lancaster plus £15 extra for an agreed valuation.

I hate flux with a passion

Andy, where do they stand on cover for mods? What I mean is will they cover the mods on a like for like replacements or would that come under the agreed value bit?

Tbh lads i havnt got to that bit yet,ive done the quote,i listed all the modifications i have and got an ammount.

Then went for the agreed value £15 option for which i need to get 5 good pictures of various parts of the car then send them to Lancaster.

All this will be done once the cars back finished with me so still to get actual cover with them, but they were the cheapest that would cover my modifications

will let you know :D

I wouldn't give flux my money if they were the only broker in the world

I've used flux a couple of times before.

Once when they were the only company that would touch me when I was 18 and insuring a valver, and the second time when they gave me a cheap quote.

They were absolutely shit.
