0255 (94 C 4287) is alive but needs work. I have owned the car here in Co. Waterford Ireland since Nov 1996. It was my wife's daily drive until Dec 2001. Sadly it was left on my drive for several years until I built my garage. I started getting some parts in 2003 that are very difficult to get these days. I am lucky that 0255 was sold new in Ireland and as we did not use salt on the roads then it has not rusted in the usual places. So very little body work to do mainly paint. It starts and drives so as I have some time now I am starting a complete rework on the brakes and suspension. I will post more pics shortly

Hello Agarde,
Where are you based in East Cork? I'am between Dungarvan and Clonmel. I wonder if 342 is a UK import or was it sold new in Ireland. Does any know how many phase 1 were sold new in Ireland?

Hi Agarde...it would appear you are a relatively new owner as this was owned by Gavfitz up till 2018.

0342 is on the register... feel free to update it with some recent pics and info.

Hi, I am based in Midleton. 342 was imported into Ireland in 2001 so thankfully has not been affected too much by rust. It has seen very little road since being imported, seems to have been stored over the years. I bought it last September and have been tipping away doing bits & pieces to it to try and get it as good as possible. I am hopefully of getting it through the NCT shortly and will drive it for a month or two and then do some more work over the winter with a view to driving/taking it to shows next year.

Thanks for the update Agarde. Good luck on the NCT. Lets us know how you get on. For UK followers the NCT is the Irish MOT. I have started to strip down 255 and decided to replace all belts, and most of the rubber components as these have suffered due to the lack of use. Just waiting for some parts to arrive.

Hi Agrade, Just thought I would make contact. I have been working hard on 255 and making progress. So far I have taken the engine out and fitted new clutch, water pump, timing belt, all pulleys and idlers, fan belt, all bushes, track rods, ball joints, rear brake lines/pipes, wheel bearings, 4 x shocks and refurbished all 4 brake calipers. Next is to refit the subframe and mount the new discs and pads.

I did have a visit from a UPS driver when he delivered a shipment to me. He is looking for a Williams so if you know of any for sale in Ireland he has placed an add in Done Deal.

Hi DJ,
Sorry have not been on the forum for a while. Good to hear you are making progress.
I have been tipping around with mine as well.
Raised the ride height as she was sitting too low. Fitted new disks and pads all around.
Next up is to fit new alternator and tensioner and get a few dents taken out.
Got a few good spins last autumn around the Healy pass.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210603/dae07933bffeb31bca350d1f33a12aab.jpg
