As the title says probably a stupid question but has anyone ever managed to squeeze a renault V6 engine into the front of a phase1/2 clio? Ive seen a few with a 3.0 mounted in the rear but that does not interest me, 1 in the front on the other hand would.

Im new to this williams scene but not new to bonkers engine conversions in bmw's were literaly anything goes :D

Well the same(ish) engine is fitted in the Laguna so with some creative raiding of the renault parts bin it could probably be done but the extra weight at the front of these cars will make it a bit crap I'd have thought :?

A guy here in Slovenia fitted Laguna V6 engine in a Megane Coupe and turbocharged it. Car has 412hp at the WHEELS!

So probably everything can be fitted, but he said that even in Megane he had serious trouble fitting everything (there's no space for airbox). So Clio can't be turbocharged, but V6 might fit with some serious mods.
