What's the story with yellow fogs? Are they an upgrade? Am I right in thinking that no Clios had yellow ones as standard?

Yeah back in the naughties I seem to remember a lot of french cars had yellow fogs as standard. not sure if it was because they work better in the fog?

i always thought it was something to do with glare? i always remembered english vehicles had to fit some sort of plastic lens over the top of our headlights if travelling in france?

They are not really so much of an upgrade in terms of functionality, but are a nod to french history and their own style. Something similar to JDM parts for jap cars, or to be specific it's called FDM style (French Domestic Market) :P.

I want new Fog's for mine, but i think i'm gonna stay with the clear variety, as much as i like the yellow fog's.

You know the surround piece that holds the lamp onto the bumper..well can you buy these separately? I need one or if anyone has a link I may go yellow lamps instead.
