mate its a common fault!my pressure one is the only one of the three that is workin, got no temp or other one!oh and my engine temp dont work cuz somehow the needle snapped off!wounded! gonna go renault n see if they can diagnose but not sure cuz of cost!might be dials but might be electrical fault or sensor fault else where in the circuitry!

my oil level only works until i start movin the temp works, and so does the pressure, but the pressure can be up and down the scale a fair bit :?

Help anyone?

I never really paid attention to it. as long as it did go at the very top i didn't think it was a problem.

My dad however reccons that it should be higher than 1 bar when idling when engine temp is at 100C. It goes to 3 bar when I rev to 2500rpm at this temp but should it be at 1 bar or slightly less when idling??? Apparently oil pressure is what keeps my motors motor lubricated and we all no how important lubrication is don't we.

All my guages work though. Although the temp sticks when i turn the engine off. A quick tap fixes it cos violence is the answer with most renault problems :D

thanks guys. I love my valver and I wanted one since way before I was 17. Since owning one I live in constant fear of it breaking so this oil thing was a real concern. But once again the expertise of williams clio crew has reasured me. I just spent £400 yesterday on having the rear arches cut out and replaced so I didn't want a new engine. :D
