Iffy gear change?

Recently after a long drive I find it difficult to select gears, sometimes they will crunch (especially reverse) but mostly the shift action feels "stiff". Could it just be that the gearbox oil needs replacing or will i be dusting off my wallet soon???

iv just been told i need a new gear box....i find it hard 2 get in2 1st n 2nd sum times and cdnt get it in2 reverse at all untill i yankd the gear rod around....

are there any noises cumin from the engine / gear box? mine makes a sound like a puncture b4 turning in2 a crunching sound....think its the bearings in my gear box that have gone.

maybe its just the spring thats ****d or the links?

No noises to speak of, its fine when cold but after a run the shift feels stiff and its easier to crunch the gears, reverse has always been a pain unless you really push hard on the clutch pedal.

How do I change the gearbox oil, is it easy?? One spanner jobby :D
