View Full Version : Exhaust heat shields - how to stop them looking scruffy

Is there anything that you can do with these when the silver coating comes off? Are they plated, so can they be re-plated or should I just strip the last remaining bits of silver coating off and then coat them with high temp paint?

I've not got them off yet so I don't know exactly what the coating is like.

Got mine peen blasted then heat paint coated again.
