Hi Guys.. I remember seeing on here sumwhere about how to take the steering whell off.. when my wheels are staright the wheel has the usual play but im changing the column soon to get rid of that.. but the steering wheel is about 3inches out..give or take abit..and its rather annoying to drive with..can u just undo the bold in the middle n pull it off n get it straight then tighten? are there splines on the ohter side of the wheel as it were? are the wheels easy to get off..is it the whole thing.? lol..please say if this doesnt make much sense!! lol

better to set the wheel straight and adjust the tracking to suit..

but yes you can adjust the wheel..

Yes it is just a case of undoing the bolt in the middle & pulling the wheel off - how you earn the obligatory bust nose/lip that comes with owning these cars :P

It is on splines as well, there's also a guide on here somewhere telling you how to centralise the column & rack

You know where straight ahead should be on the steering wheel as that's where the steering lock (where you cant turn it left any further) is set.
