Sunroof stopped working

Hi guys anyone help out here my electric sunroof on my willi 2 just gave up the ghost it was working but just stopped halfway through opening. When you press the button the interior light dims but nothing. Do these motors pack up, any ideas

Water leaking in can frazzle the motors, you can still manually close the roof with an allen key - can't remember what size - but if you pull the plastic bits down so u can see the motor itself, you'll be able to see where to stick the allen key in then wind it closed :wink:

You have a Willy2 with a sunroof as well?!

I've wound it shut but it obviously doesn't work now. Anyone got a motor to try.

And yes I have a willi 2 with a sunroof quite rare I understand. It must be worth many millions of pounds now with the way the prices are going !
