Well I ordered my tyres from www.mytyres.co.uk on sunday evening and they arrived yesterday. If anyones thinking of ordering from mytyres then do so in confidence.

I shall be ordering 2 of the same shortly. Local fitter turned out to be the outlet for them, so I hope he can still do 'em as cheap as they are at the mo.

Can only say good things about these tyres fitted to Williams, also recommend Bridgestone RE720's.
Browsing on Mytyres and wondered if anyone had any experience with these?

The compound is too hard and can wear unevenly.

So they are more consistent throughout the life of the tyre

I'd much rather have grip when i wanted it than a few extra thousand miles!

Nope!

Each to their own i guess. Id rather trade off ultimate grip for a tyre that is more consistent, provides equally rewarding wet and dry handling and has good wear rates. But i havnt tried all the tyres out there so maybe there are some better ones. I just have to go on what i know and what ive read. Most modern tyres are directional and i think that directional tyres are shit. So im not left with too much choice.
