I'd like to replace the accelerator cable because mine's been "sticky" ever since I've had the car - the accelerator pedal requires about the same force as the brake pedal so, in stop-go traffic, it makes me look a bit of a tit as I either quickly catch the stall or rev too much.
When trying to order from the local Renault dealer Parts dept. they showed me a print off which clearly shows the short French cable (i.e. sit on the left, straight run for the accelerator cable). If the diagram is correct (there's no --/ /-- cut sections) then the part is obviously wrong for a RHD car.
So if I could trouble you again - could anyone help me out with a part number or tell me that the diagrams are just wrong, please?
