Hi Guys,

Unfortunately due to a pretty big change in my personal circumstances I am with great regret having to consider the sale of 0425. It's only a consideration at the moment, I must stress that....

As such, I genuinely would welcome your comments as to the value of the car as I don't have a clue...

Many thanks for your help...

Cheers.

I'm sorry to hear that you are planning to sale your wonderful Williams :(. If I were you I would try to sell 0425 on the continent. Williams has no price in the UK, it's fact. But in Germany, France, the Netherlands or Italy perhaps you could sell it at a decent price. Check out this Willy on mobile.de (http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDetails.html?id=143314450&__lp=3&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=price.consumerGrossEuro&makeModelVariant1.makeId=20700&makeModelVariant1.modelId=6&minPowerAsArray=96&minPowerAsArray=KW&maxPowerAsArray=146&maxPowerAsArray=KW&fuels=PETROL&minFirstRegistrationDate=1993-01-01&negativeFeatures=EXPORT&colors=BLUE&lang=de&pageNumber=2)

I'd say it's worth more than that, it's one of the best examples in the UK.

shocked to hear this mate but understand the circumstances

i would ask 6k plus for it, but unfortunately nows not the time to sell, as mentioned, i'd risk advertising it on the continent first

Think price is spot on IMO

It's the silly things that make this car stand out for me, lacquered engine bay! Attention to detail.. Stunning example

**Flame suit on**

You wont get 6k for it. People are losing their jobs and we have more debt in the UK than Greece (personal and governmental). In time we will go the same way. The only people who are maintaining their wealth are the super rich and they dont buy small cheap French hatch backs.

The time to sell these cars was 2005 - 2006 at the peak of the market. Even those people with money now have been scared into preparing for the shit storm that is coming, so if the money they have isnt servicing debt, its being put to one side (or into gold if they have a brain) to make sure they can weather the storm.

I know how much Renault paid fro 0001 and based on the fact that they bought it at the peak of the market and had unlimited funds, i would say you wont get a penny over 3.5k for it. Which, by the way, is worthless paper money that will soon be in a hyperinflationary spiral.

the longer you leave it the less it will be worth and the less the currency will be worth.

They are going to collapse the world economy and lead us to war. Then from the ashes they will bring in a new world currency and a world central bank.

In otherwords, if you want to get rid, get rid now as its only going to get worse from here. Soon people will have bigger concerns.

Peace.

Totally disagree with the above statement. I have just seen pictures of the car and to a collector who wants a *MINT* example then £5k-6k would be a fair price imo. The only difficulty would be finding a buyer for that price because of the current climate so in some respects i agree with the above statement and then in other respects i disagree.

Sorry to here you are selling up. Hopefully will do to a true enthusiast who shall maintain its current condition

Good luck with the sale

Well easy to prove me wrong, put it up for sale at 6k and see if it sells.

Concours examples will always be worth a premium imo as they are sought after by enthusiasts. The 'lesser' ones I agree are worth bugger all at the moment. I think talkingfish will easily get 6k for his car, it's one of the best examples out there (including 0001).

It all well and good saying its 'worth' 6k because you like it. The hard part about selling anything is finding someone whop has 6k to spare on a non-essential car that they will devalue if they drive.

you never know who is searching on the web for one, why not make a youtube video of it and stick it in the forsale section on here, better than pictures and a lot less hassle to upload,
its all a case of who has the spare cash at the moment and most of the die hard fans are registered on here who unfortunetely have at least one,
Like mk2 escorts I think it will be another few years before the supply and demand is leaning towards the seller to improve prices, thats why they are so expensive on the continent.
