Hose clips

Why did/do (surely they still don't) Renault use those stupid hose clips that are little b******s to undo and then can't be reused?! Is there a secret to these little demons - if so, I need to know. Will gradually get round to changing them all but need advice in the meantime!

I wish! All I have is a flathead screwdriver, plenty of swearing and chunks out of my fingers!

Ha yeah - hate them - spring type hose clips are someone's idea of a cheap tamper proof joke!

I've always just cut them if they're small enough or used water pump pliers to move them up and off to the bin.

I tend to replace with Mikalor W2 or W4 hose clamps. Not cheap but they won't snap shut on your fingers or require you to get a tetanus shot.
