looking at getting the head on my williams rebuilt and was wondering if there is any where around the somerset area that is recommended and rough prices people have paid.
if i cant find any 1 to do it for me i'll have to have a go myself, just found a company advertising on ebay that they will replace the valves, valve stem seals and guides if needed, supply you with a new headgasket and bolts for £260 icluding vat, collection and delivery, any one used this service before??

heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120688271188&category=10410&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_803wt_1185

I'll bet you they can't find the valves for your head.

32mm valves are genuine only and over £50 each IIRC. all the advertised "williams" valves are actually megane 33mm. Saying that I've seen 33mm valves fitted straight to a williams head (one i pulled apart to rebuild and found it had been a bit fudged) and they do work ok, just no benefit without modifying the seats

yea i'v noticed that, theres a few people selling them on ebay listed as "clio williams, megane 2L f7r" but they state they measure 33mm.

how much would you charge for a head rebuild then danny??
