Outside air temp gauge broken

The gauge above the speedo has broken on my car. The back light still works but there are no numbers. Any ideas?

think this is whats happens if the guage is unpluged. I'd check all the connections, first. Hopefully the sender hasn't broken as there about £90 from renault.

The sender is underneath the passenger wingmirror by the way. If you didn't already know.

Probably a bulb out.. there are two.

It shows a random temp if sensor is bust.

mines bust to!.....knockd my mirror off twice in 1 day! lol....

sum of the wires came out of my mirror and now it flashes -30oC all the time! lol

dont kno if u can take the mirror off without breakin it but u shud try checkin 2 c if all the wires are conected!

OK i'll have a check round. Dont need it, but its interesting when i'm in the pits at York cos I can predict what times i'll run lol.
