I wouldn't bother with flux, I was with them seven years and they took my money gladly. When a taxi ran a red light into me they wAnted me to accept blame as it'd be cheaper for them. Took 3 years to fight it and keep all my no claims. I'm with Peter best now, Williams 2, 28 years old £140 a year. Won't find better

Cheers, just gonna go with a price comparison site then. Tbh I think its std proceedure for any claims to take 2 years or so if theres no one accepting liability. It stinks.

Total waste of time unless you've got a completely bog standard shitbox of a car, only option is the old fashioned way of getting on the phone to as many as possible, try sky insurance or greenlight as they've both been very good for me in the past, still are

I'm with paddy on this one, greenlight insured my very highly modified clio the first year although oddly they refused to reinsure a year later. So I went with sky insurance who have been really helpful too.

Well I phoned both. They were both a waste of time.

****ing greenlight said I wasnt eligible for a quote. Cheeky CUNTS. I quote

'Unfortunately we found from the detail entered by you upon the application that you currently fall outside of the acceptance criteria of our specialist vehicle schemes, please see the attached document to find out more.'

Then spent 20mins on phone to sky, taking all my details off me, then said, right we've found someone who will look into insuring you we'll put you through. THEY PUT ME THROUGH TO ****ING SWINTON. So I then spent another 20mins giving them all my details for them to come back with a quote of £2.2k. JOKERS.

All these max power cunts are just brokers that go thru the big guys, ala swinton, and if swinton got the sale off me, sky would get a % commission.

Think im just going to not bother with insurance and take the 3 points and £60 fine if I get done 8) :o  :D

It's 6 points, £200 fine & the car gets taken off you, then to get it back, you've got to insure it and pay the storage fees

I believe the term is dry ass raped

there the only people to insure my 20v all mods (even declared the bhp) declaired £1350... not bad really :?

but insurance is a joke!! got a renewal on the truck it went from 900-1600 i rang them up and asked them to justify the increase when i have another years no claimes... they were unable to tell me why.

maybe i should start my own company??? :?:
