Cambelt Tension

This is a question for those on here whom do pretty much all there own work on the F7p / f7r's and I am wondering how you guys go buy working out how much tension you need to put on the cambelt?

Should I use the turn side of belt 90 degrees by hand on the longest part of the belt method?

I did the same with a polo 1.4 2002 and with my F7R 9. Both are still running :)

I just tweak the belt till it fills right, if its properly tensioned then turning it a full 90 degrees should be difficult.
