What's the price for one of these?

It's oil level and temp sensor.

Is this Renault only item or can I get it elsewhere?

I can't remember what one you need. Willy spec I think for OEM loom plug? Can't remember what one I used with 714 block.

I hope 714 uses the same sensor as other F7R blocks. BTW, Stealers sell it for around 73€. EXPENSIVE!!!

Dude, I may have one somewhere. Will look.

I think I had to use the one from my Williams due the the plug, or different sump...one or the other, or both.

F7R 714 has different sensor. Part number is 82 00 670 520.

Valver oil level sensor (77 00 826 667) = £56.96 (back order)

Presumably same for Williams but not checked part numbers.

Ah, just read above posts, maybe not same part then. Plus price was excluding VAT......best off getting 2nd hand as a bit bloody pricey!

Hey!

I got this sensor at the scrappy yesterday, but it seems a bit different then the one in the first pic:

sensor I got yesterday:

I found this pic on the net, but it's supposed to be the right sensor
http://img288.imageshack.us/img288/2345/dscn07767qw.jpg

My question is if I can use this new sensor and to what it was originally fitted (guy at the scrappy gave it to me, so I didn't remove it from the engine). I think there might be a problem, because if I'm not mistaken there are 3 wires coming out of the original and only two pins on the one I have. So does this mean it only has oil level and no temp sensor?

That looks like an R19 one.

If the lenght and the placement of the holes (where you can see the thin wires) are in the same place - it should be the same...

Yeah, but mine has 2 pins and the one in the pic has 3?
