Heatshield

I am sure i saw on here a picture of a homemade heatshield from the heatresistant metal sheets from Demon Tweeks. I can't find the thread for love nor money.

Could you advise on the best way to mould and design one? I ain't prepared to pay Renault prices for one, and there are no good second hand ones for sale.

I use that stuff all the time.

It just moulds very easily by hand, just cut it to size, makes some holes to bolt it in place then form it however you want.

Yeah thats the stuff I use.

With a mid engined car heat management is something you have no choice but to learn a lot about, lol

It will increase the temperature of the brake fluid due to radiant heat from the very hot exhaust manifold located near it.
