i have a 1995 williams 3, i have noticed that it sits wonkey on the drivers side rear. I have looked through the forum for anything that can fail and the only thing i can find is the trailing arm bushes. but i dont know if these failing could cause this if anyone can shed any light on the situation would be greatly appreciated.

I dnt think it's anything to do with the shocks? As I believe that on the rear all they do is absorb the bounce from the torsion bar? Not to sure on that one. And Im pretty sure that they are still on the mounting brackets not to sure on that one either can you point me in the rite direction to what I'm looking for.

well yeah it does help if they are connected to the car though .lol
If you remove a shock, it does affect height !!

check the bar isnt bent!

Look for a kinck or bend in the angle section running across from one side to another.

I took the rear torsion bar out there didn't seem to be anything wrong with it sat pretty even I then had a look around the from and noticed the front shocks. I dont know if it's the same on all the others but mine are different lengths ( on shock has more coils than the other) I believe this is because of the wieght of the engine being over one side of the car, so I swapped them round and it seems to have done the trick.[/list]

You mean one has more spring coils? I'd say you have an incorrect or snapped spring then.
