really stiff clutch pedal

as said above, also when the pedal is at the top it is loose.
the biting point is no more than 10mm up from the bottom, also i have receipts of a clutch cable and pedal from before i bought the car.. so obviously its been messed with before.

any ideas?????

If it's stiff then your clutch cable is probably routed incorrectly, or your clutch could be on its way out.

You could unhook the cable from the pedal and see how stiff it is then to see whether its the pedal or the cable.

The cable probably went on it previously and they did the cable and rachet/pedal system, without knowing that the clutch is on the way out.

northy, if you still have that pedal assembly this time 2 months, I'll have it off your hands there.

sorry that it took so long to get back to ya..

i disconected the cable and seems a little stiff so im gunna try a new cable.. but to double check im guna get another pedal.

My clutch is very high compared to the other 2, could a new pedal assembly cure this or is it a simple fix?
